Q: What should I expect during my first class?

A: Your first class can be the most intimidating, but at Flaunt we make you feel right at home. First timers are always amazed at what their bodies are capable of and you never know until you try. It’s going to be challenging, however, our instructors are highly trained and will make you leave class feeling like you just conquered the world, or Pole!

Q: What should I wear/ bring to Pole Class?

A: Shorts are a MUST! Shorts should be tight to the skin, cotton or spandex, and as short as possible. Sports bra and a t-shirt or tank top- again something form fitting. (we don’t want extra material in the way of the Pole). We typically work barefoot during class, however, if you have shoes its always a great idea to bring them along. ABSOLUTELY NO LOTION OR OIL ON THE BODY- ANYWHERE!!!! Lotions and oils will make you slip and slide all over and can cause a major safety issue during class. Leave expensive jewelry at home!!! We will ask you to remove rings, watches and bracelets before class. Do yourself a favor and leave it home so you don’t lose or forget anything. Other items you will want to invest in are Knee Pads and Leg Warmers.

Q: Is there Nudity?

A: There is not full nudity, however, the more advanced you become in Pole, the less clothing you will want to wear. PLEASE do not wear thongs or extremely revealing tops to class.

Q: Personal Hygiene

A: We use XPole at our studio and there is no official weight limit. We have had over 4 people on 1 pole at the same time totaling over 500lbs.

Q: What should I wear/ bring to Fitness or Aerials Class?

A: Fitness and Aerial Classes you will want to wear typical gym wear. Leggings and sneakers for fitness classes and long legging, short and long sleeved shirts for Aerials.

Q: Do you sell Pole Wear and Grip Aids?

A: We currently have a Store inside the studio where we sell, Shorts, Shirts, Hats, Bags, Grips and more! See your instructor to purchase any of these items.

Q: Will I get bruising?

A: “Pole Kisses” is what we call them. You should expect minor bruising during your Pole Classes. Taking extra Iron supplements and using Arnica Gel or Cream can help diminish the appearance of these kisses.

Q: Do I need to Register for Classes?

A: YES!!!! We work through a booking system called ScheduleHouse. You will want to create a Free Account and register for classes directly through there. We recommend download the ScheduleHouse App directly to your phone as it is the easiest way to register and cancel your classes! Payments will also be handles upon registration. ** We do not accept walk ins or payments in studio**

Q:Do you accept Walk-Ins?

A: NO! If you walk in without registering, we will have you create an account through MindBody and register for a new class.

Q: What aerial apparatuses do you offer?

A: We currently use Lyra, Silks, Hammock, Pendulum Pole, Trapeze and Straps during the Aerial Classes.

Q: Do I have to Check In when I arrive?

A: Yes. Upon entry you will be given a mandatory temperature check. Give your name to the instructor and they will check you in.

Q: Do you provide a space where students can put their things?

A: Yes. We have a Free cubby area where students may put their personal items. In addition, we have Lockers which require a Platinum Membership Account or can be added on at an additional cost of $5.00 per month to the Gold Package Membership. *Flaunt is not responsible for lost or stolen items*

A: All payments will be taken upon registering for classes on MindBody! We do not accept any payments at our location. Pre-Payment and Pre-Registration is required for all classes and workshops.

Q: I want to Compete, how do I start?

A: Flaunt currently has an amazing and growing Competition Team. If you are interested in Competing under Flaunt, please e-mail Erica at egabrielle.woods@gmail.com. Anyone competing under Flaunt MUST be a current and participating student.

Q: Do I HAVE to wear Shorts to Pole Class?

A: If you want to get the most out of your class, YES!!!!! We need our skin to be able to stick to the pole and pants do to allow this to happen. Don’t worry! Flaunt is a super body positive environment with men and woman of all ages shapes and sizes!

Q: Is there Nudity?

A: There is not full nudity, however, the more advanced you become in Pole, the less clothing you will want to wear. We need our skin to be able to stick to the Poles, therefore lose and bagging clothing is not suggested. Shorts and sports bra is typically what you will see most people wearing during class. PLEASE do not wear thongs or extremely revealing tops to class.

Q: Personal Hygiene

A: We ask that you please mind your personal hygiene. It can get extremely warm during some months and Instructors may have to touch you in order to properly spot you. Body odors can transfer on to the poles and make others feel extremely uncomfortable, especially if you are sharing a pole.

Q: I have had injuries to my body in the past, will pole make my injuries worse?

A: Pole can be as easy or as hard as you want it to be. We always advise our students to let your instructors know about all previous, current and on going injuries before your class starts. This will allow the instructor to give you modifications if need be so there is no further injury.

Q: Do you provide Alcohol and Rags to clean the poles?

A: Flaunt will provide alcohol for cleaning the poles. You should bring your own Pole Rag!

A: Currently due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will only be accepting 12 people per class.

Q: Is there a Class Minimum?

A: Yes. We require at least 3 people re registered for a class in order for the class to go on. Notification of any class cancellation would be no less than 1 Hour prior to the class start time. **Having the MindBody App will let you know right away if any classes have been canceled.

Q: Do you allow children/ pets or spectators in class?

A: Absolutely not. Please do not bring your children, pets or friends (unless they are participating) to class.

Q: Can I take photos during class?

A: NO! Taking photos during class is extremely rude to the Instructor and other students in class. We do allow opportunity for photos and videos at the end of class, but we ask that you mind your surroundings as other people in class do not want to be in the background of your photos and videos which will most likely end up on social media. Please respect those around you.

A: Yes! Please check with Pinki for pricing and installation. Anyone who orders a Pole through us will receive a Free Installation. (Up to 15 Miles)
